Switched to Verizon from ATT, bought 2 new Samsung 23+, ported our numbers last Tuesday, and moved all our info over to the new phones. Both of us only receive some texts, no 2 factor authentication texts, and they seem to come from only friends with androids. SIM cards seem to be working. We reset our old phones to trade in, removed the old SIM cards, but had to restart them to use for calls and texts. Texts that don't go to our s23s go to our s9s once we set them back up. Whats happening???

Lvmokie, we're thrilled to hear that you recently joined the Verizon family! We definitely want to make sure that your service is working properly. Based on what you've shared, it sounds like the port may have still been underway. When you port in a number, the process can take 24 hours, and during that time, incoming calls and texts may be impacted. To clarify, are you still experiencing this issue? How are outgoing calls and texts working?
