I receive a 504 Gateway Time-out error when downloading my photos from Verizon Cloud to my laptop. My 14,000 photos take about 15 minutes to load from the Verizon cloud Photos & Videos tab, then when I select the Download icon I receive a 504 error after about 90 seconds. My laptop is a fast Lenovo ThinkPad X1, operating system Windows 11, browser Goggle Chrome. My wireless connection speed-checks at 550 Mbps down and 31 Mbps up. Please help - I need to download my Verizon Cloud photos and videos to my laptop.

I'm guessing you were trying to download ALL of the pictures at once. Instead select about 200 or less at a time to download them in chunks. You should have better results with multiple and smaller download packages.

Hey, JoeSails! We hear your concerns. As someone who loves taking photos, I know how important it is to be able to get you media! Have you tried plugging your device directly into your computer or laptop when you try to download this? This would speed up the process for you! *Kris

Maybe I misunderstood your answer, but I have not tried connecting my phone directly to my computer because the photos I am attempting to download from the Cloud are no longer on my phone. I need to download my photos from Verizon Cloud to my laptop, not to my phone. I appreciate your suggestion though.

Yup, that's the process I have been using. I receive a 504 Gateway Time-out error when downloading my photos from Verizon Cloud to my laptop.
It takes about 15 minutes for Verizon Cloud to prepare my 14,000 photos after I have Selected All on the Photos & Videos tab. Then I click on the Download icon - I receive a 504 Gateway Time-out error after about 90 seconds.

We never want you to have an issue with the Verizon Cloud. Did the above instructions help? Where are you having this issue at on the phone or computer? -Joe
