Weeklong service outage

The Check Network Status page says there's an outage in San Marcos, TX and this has been going on for a week now.  Data is horribly slow and the 2 times I managed to run a speed test, results were showing 30-35% packet loss.  Is there any way to get better status updates?

@vzw_customer_support from what I can tell, the problem seems to be only with 5G service, which is now non-existent in San Marcos, TX.  It was the 5G speed test results which had a lot of packet loss.  4G LTE data is still extremely slow, less than 1Mbps down the last I checked earlier today but shows no packet loss.  The message below has appeared every time I've checked network status ever since December 15 so it has now been a week and a half.

Thank you for those details. Where in San Marcos, TX does this happen primarily, meaning indoors, or outdoors?

Both.  The Check Network Status page still says there's an outage.  Because of this and other issues I've seen with service at work and at home in Austin, TX, I have decided to have my number ported out in a couple of weeks when I'm closer to the end of my billing cycle.

Natasha, I replied earlier but my post disappeared for some reason.  The problem seems to be only with 5G service in San Marcos, TX.  5G is now non-existent in zip code 78666 and the few times I managed to do a speed test while my phone was in 5G, the speeds seemed abnormally slow (10Mbps down or less) with 30-35% packet loss.  4G LTE is even slower than that, runs about 1Mbps down or even less, but has no packet loss.

Verizon's Check Network Status link continues to display the message that "data, voice and text are limited" for this area and has been doing so since December 15.
