I have been a Verizon client for more than a decade, and have always been loyal...however, Verizon seems not to be loyal anymore. All the rate hikes, fighting for hours with customer service, etc...
I've just been trying to reduce my bill a bit to help the struggle, and as long as I've been a customer I see all these new customer deals, or old customer deals, but where's the love for the current customers? I really have to leave and come back later to get a better deal? I see people getting $10, $15, $20 per line loyalty discounts but I'm just told "tough luck". I'm fed up...and ready to start looking elsewhere after over a decade.
Just had to vent...I'm disappointed.

You're not getting an auto-pay discount even? Someone who was on a legacy plan recently posted elsewhere that they were getting some kind of loyalty discount for their plan.
It is just my opinion, but I really believe that the new customer promotions all have a catch to them. And there are certainly enough horror stories in these forums related to the many things which can go wrong with such promotions...
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

I 100% here you there they just did a deal with a Verizon talk host at my complex where we have fios and he was offering 25 a month for new customers with better perks then I get as an 18 year member I pay like 70 a line plus the phone on top of that the bill just keeps going up. I need to also leave and find another provider I'm very very very unhappy with Verizon at the moment I was promised by an american supervisor over the phone there going to give me a special deal now they won't honor it and the phone and watch never got shipped. There charging the loyal people an arm and leg to foot the new customers with the cushy 10-25 dollar lines with 5g and Unlimited talking text its really frustrating you should start looking around there other great companies that will offer you way better deals.
