I continually have my calls either drop or show call failed or fade in and out when I'm talking within my house. I routinely on have 1 or 2 bars on my phone while inside my home. Is there something that can be done to improve this problem
Anntiqueannie,
We want your device to work as it should, especially when you are at home. Please allow us to further investigate the details. Can you please let us know when this started and if anybody else in your household is having the same experience? Also, may we have the make and model of your device?

The dropped calls have been going on for 3-4 months. Prior to this I have not had any issues with calls in my home. I am the only family member with Verizon. My wife uses AT&T (and she has no problems with calls in our home).
The phone is a Samsung SM-G900V.
Android version 6.0.1
I can make or receive a call, but usually within 1-2 minutes it will get dropped. This will happen if I dial out or receive a call. To troubleshoot the problem, I have removed any "new" aps to see if that would help. Removing aps did not rectify the problem. I have not had any dropped calls outside of my home. Looking at my phone right now I see the 4G symbol and 3 bars. I usually see 2-3 bars.
Thank you for your assistance in resolving this.
Regards,
Herm

getting worse over the last month. My phone is an apple 6s+
Videone,
Not having phone calls work in your home for 3-4 months is way to long. We definitely want to find you the best solution. Can you please let us know if you have Wi-Fi services in your home? If so, can you please try to activate Wi-Fi calling on your device? With activating Wi-Fi calling this allows you to have a more enhanced experience with your phone calls to avoid the dropped calls from happening. Please view this link on how to activate the feature http://vz.to/2rEexnN.
Yes, I have been using Wi-Fi in my home to make/receive calls. The use of Wi-Fi is the reason why I haven't searched for a solution sooner.
BUT, it is a pain having to remember to turn on/off the Wi-Fi calling every time I leave the house. Often, I forget the phone is in Wi-Fi mode when I'm away and I am missing calls.

It sounds to me as if AT&T has better signal in your home than Verizon. If the AT&T coverage is as good as or better than Verizon in other areas you frequent, you may do better to switch providers.
I went to the Verizon store and got a new sim card. So far, my dropped call problem in my home seems to have been resolved. I hope it lasts.
