why is my voice to text repeating words on two different phones?

note 4 and note 5 both Verizon carriers are repeating spoken sentences when changed to text. I have read it may be the carrier, since both phones are doing it I'm assuming that's the issue here. Anyone else experiencing this, and how can we get it fixed?

I have been reading several message boards today with many different phones and different carriers. Many people are having this same problem but so far no one has an answer. A few suggestions work for a couple of people but not everyone.

using the Verizon messaging app, friends of us on Verizon had the same thing. But it doesn't seem to be doing it out now. I was really happening the day of the wind storms here in Michigan.
