Does anyone know if Verizon will be offering the Asus ROG phone? If no one knows, is there a place to request it?

So.... I reinquired with the executive department of Verizon... They actively tried to get ASUS to make the software to unlock VoLTE for Verizon networks for the ROG... Unfortunately, ASUS has rejected the request. So Verizon was willing but ASUS rejected.
Given the circumstances of the actions, or lack thereof, of ASUS, I am not going to change networks just to get the phone. I think this was a pretty selfish act on ASUS and therefore they do not deserve my business.
Thank you for attempting to work on it Verizon executive department. I greatly appreciate your time spent, man power, and resources used to give us a truthful answer.
Still a bummer though.

Phone arena says is does have bands 2,4,5 and 13. No CDMA but that's not an issue as long as it supports Verizon's VoLTE. I doubt Verizon will carry it anyway you'll probably have to buy it elsewhere to use on Verizon IF compatible

That would be absolutely catastrophic to a lot of people though... Some people still use the old analog phones... You're saying that Verizon is going to make people upgrade or get service elsewhere?

Statistics say that 92% of customers use LTE, and the other 8% use the older network... Verizon has 145.72 million customers... That's 11.6 million customers they will be shutting out... Not to go off topic but what are they going to do for that 11.6 million customers?

146 million DEVICES not actual customers. And you're counting business/government customers as part of that. That's separate issue many of those customer still use CDMA IoT and mtm devices and Verizon will be keeping a small slice of that spectrum open for them.
The number of retail devices that are still CDMA only are closer to 8 million. Most of those are basic phones. Verizon stop selling CDMA only basic phones in January and only sells LTE basic phones now. After June 30 no new CDMA only devices will be allowed to be activated on the network. The ones already on can stay until Dec 31 2019. So the number of CDMA only devices that will still be on the network in 18 months will be very small

No one uses analog phones. Analog was discontinued well over a decade ago.

I have to say, If Verizon is going to ignore the gaming community and not provide these great games phones to their customers....I for one have no problem leaving Verizon to go to another carrier just to use this phone...it's a shame and a huge disappointment that Verizon has done exactly that..
I never thought I'd switch to another network after Sprint, but I guess that's what Verizon wants. I know there isn't 150 million ppl gaming on their network, but gamers are pushing this and Verizon needs to understand and grow with the rising not stay flat and boring...
Thanks Verizon for showing me the door...guess I'll have to take my money elsewhere!

It's a shame that Verison doesnt want this high end phone in its a network. Judging by how old this thread has been here and nothing has changed in over a year. It seems like a Verison doesnt want any consumers happy with there products or services. I even tried calling Verizon Customer service only to be put on hold for 30min!!! The Asus Rog Phone 2 is fudging amazing and it terrible how Verizon wont even support that kind of hardware. Ironically, At&T and T-Mobile does provide service with this phone and after being with Verizon for over 10+ years i think it's about time to Jump ship. For all of you reading this maybe you should do the same. Unless Verizon gives us a concrete time frame or let us know when they're going to support this phone i think its time for everyone to switch.

Update since the phone comes next week:
I spoke to level 2 techs from Verizon on this and the answer was "umm, 50/50 chance". I was informed that tho its has the CDMA, that will no longer be used, so, thats not an option. It will do GMA, but, thats not really a "supported" data/voice channel.
I was then provided the honest answer, and, expected:
Wait until its out, see if people are able to get it on the network. If so, buy it. If not, dont.
I will assume the answer will be no, since, the phone is missing the Verizon name on it, and, all the bloat-ware they want to provide. This maybe the reason i needed to move to, well, basically ANY other carrier.

The pixel doesn't have Verizon's name on it. iPhones, HTC U11 and U12 don't. The only way devices won't work on Verizon network if they haven't been certified which doesn't cost OEMs money to go through. Asking Asus they should give you an answer because if they are going through the process then that means it will be on Verizon as soon as they pass.

Hello, MATMUR16. We would definitely hate to see you go, and we apologize for any confusion. Allow us to clarify. If this device has a tray for a SIM Card, then it will likely be compatible with VoLTE bandwidth. With this device having been purchased from someone other than us, we cannot guarantee that it will be compatible with our network. As soon as you have your Device ID, you can look it up, or you can message it to us, and we can check for you. Because this device is not from us, we want to ensure we set clear expectations, this is why we aren't giving you a direct yes or no. Without all of the necessary information, we cannot know for certain. We are more than happy to specify everything as soon as we have all the necessary information. We hope this helps.

Okay so, the Asus ROG phone is being sold on eBay for between 999 to 1200 dollars. Ships straight from Taiwan (where the phone is manufactured.)
Please tell me that Verizon will be jumping on this bandwagon. If the phone does only go to another carrier, then that's where I am going.
I love Verizon and I do not EVER buy top of the line anything but I really want this phone. Really bad. If another carrier has it first, then that's where I am going.

Well I am sure you don't. But right now that phone runs a average of 1000 dollars on eBay. I am for sure not going to buy it and then try to see if it works.
I just want to know if Verizon is going to sell it/allow payments to he made on the phone, IF they offer it.
My overall question is, "Is Verizon going to offer the phone to it's customers?!"

LOL! I clicked the link and guess what I found at the top of the list? An IPHONE! You see... Once again, you guys are not taking the time to evaluate what everyone here is saying.
We want the Asus ROG. <-- Notice the period at the end of that. Not the Google Pixel, Not the iPhone X, and not the Asus Zenfone.
We want the ROG. Asus Republic Of Gaming Cellular Phone.
