Android 2.0.1 broke my Droid.

I've had the droid since the day it was released, and it had worked beautifully the entire time. Since I installed the android 2.0.1 update, my phone has been getting worse and worse every day.

the auto-orientation no longer works... none of the programs that use the accelerometer (sp?) will work, they all either force close or just do not respond. (if I'm in a program, I have to actually close it and reopen it with the keyboard slid out for it to be in landscape mode)

the keyboard backlight no longer works,

google maps only works about 1/3 of the time,

some phone calls will come up on my screen for a second, then disappear and go to voicemail.

among a few other problems that aren't coming to mind right now...

Is there some way to get back to android 2.0 on my Droid? I had absolutely no issues before the update.

Since your problems seem pretty isolated, I would suggest trying two things.

Download and apply the update.zip file to re-flash the 2.0.1 update, just in case something didn't complete properly...

If re-flashing the 2.0.1 update doesn't fix your problem, I would suggest doing a full factory-reset of the phone to completely clean-up anything that might have gotten corrupted due to an incomplete update of the settings files on the phone.

If neither of those work, you might have some bad hardware and need a warranty replacement.

Actually before I do the quoted, I would ask if the OP has manually updated or not. If you haven't then return the device, but if you did manually update things could get a bit sticky.
