Is it possible to back up our data from our Samsung Galaxy to a flash drive using a google chrome computer?
What data, specifically? You can link the phone to your computer via USB or bluetooth, and move or copy music, photos, videos,e tc to the computer and possibly directly to the flash drive if it is listed as a drive on the computer. Contacts are nest saved as Google contacts and will be synced whenever you use your google account to log in to a device. The same for the applications in the playstore.
What "data" are you referring to?
I would like to completely back up the Galaxy Prime Core to a flash drive plugged into a Google Chrome computer. Do I need a special app to do this? Will the back up under settings do it?
You should be able to do this by using the Files program on your Chromebook. Connect the phone to the Chromebox and and set it to use MTP mode. The phone should appear in the File Manager as as Storage Device. Connect your USB drive to the same computer, and the drive should appear in your file manager.
I do appreciate your help smith6612. Tiger0816, what type of information are you trying to back up? Were you able to try what smith6612 suggested?
