Hugslindy, I can certainly understand that an overheating phone will cause some concern for you. Especially since this is a new phone. Let’s work together to see what we can find out for you in regards to your S5. When did your phone start getting hot? Where did you purchase the phone from? Are you using the charger that came with the phone?

Safety is extremely important to us. All phones tend to heat up during usage or charging.  No phone should get real hot. What are you considering real hot? Is it to hot to touch? Is there a burning smell coming from it?

My phone is new and gets hot while charging and sometimes while playing a simple game for only a few minutes. I hate the S5. Now I wish I would have chose a different phone when I upgraded.

Help is here! Making sure that you are not harmed is our number one goal. We also want to make sure that you enjoy the phone you have. All phones get warm most times when charging. Are you using the original charger that came with the phone? When did this problem start to happen? (A few days ago? A few weeks ago? A few months ago?) Does it get so warm that you can’t touch it? Do you get a heat warning message on your phone?
