My mobile hot spot gave me a message that said "fatal error". I have a Samsung cell. Can someone please tell me what this means. Thank you.

I rely on my mobile hotspot to connect my devices as well. What was going on when you received this message? Where you able to use the mobile hotspot again after shutting the phone down for 5 minutes and then powering it back on?
