How Can Moto G7 switch between 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi networks?

I have a Moto G7 phone that connects with my home WiFi network (Comcast) through a dual-band (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz) modem, using the modem's 5 GHz band. I just bought a WiFi security camera that requires phone app to use the 2.4 GHz band. I'm looking for a way to make the phone capable of switching back and forth between the dual bands so I can occasionally see the camera view. Can't find any info on that.

Can anyone tell me whether I can use the phone's Add Network window to simply add the 2.4 GHz band as a separate network to the phone's Saved Network list and then select it when I need to? And if so, how to do it?

Hello, John. The device does not have a function to do this. You can check into a new router that may offer the 2.4GHz that may help. TaylorH_VZW

It's a saved network, it's not any different than connecting to any other saved network. You see it in your list of wifi networks and connect. You need to have your router broadcasting both the 2.4Ghz network and the 5Ghz one.

In my case I have my phone connected to the 5Ghz one typically, also have the standard 2.4Ghz one saved. The latter will have better reach and I use it sometimes when 5Ghz strength isn't as strong as it could be.
