How can I get the updated software for my Androids?

Question

Can you upgrade the Android version on your devices. Some of my phones and tablets are running Version 6.1.1,   7.0,  4.4.2 and 5.1.1 they are sometimes listed as candy ie; lolipop, nougat, tic tac etc.. Android 7.0 / nougat seems to be a later version on a Galaxy 6,   Galaxy 5 has 6.0.1 and Brigadier (which was released after the Galaxy 5 is running Android 5.1.1

Each device may or may not have any more updates available. They are likely at the "End of Life" for software updates. You can verify the most current version of the OS on Advanced Devices Software Updates | Verizon Wireless.
