I'm not able to receive pictures from a person on T-Mobile. But they are able to text me

I switched over to Verizon from T-Mobile recently. Ever since my phone has been sending text messages to people that have T-Mobile by way of two different numbers.

And recently I have discovered that my girlfriend who is also on T-Mobile, cannot send me picture messages and it says that I'm blocked. But we are still able to text normal without any issues..

I have spent the last two days talking with people from Verizon and nobody has been able to help me. What is the issue?

We are sorry to read that you're having issues with your texts. Is this only happening with that number? What messaging app are you using?

Is your phone a T-Mobile carrier phone which was unlocked, and you're using a texting app which was specifically tied to them? Because that would be one explanation as to why your girlfriend cannot text you back. If so, make a different texting app your default texting app.

If you are currently using Verizon's Messages+ app to text, time to switch to something else because Messages+ is on its way out and will be completely retired soon. It's been acting strangely for several months now.
