Internal storage in samsung sm-j327v phone

i followed the steps to transfer files and apps from internal storage to an sd card but the memory storage numbers have not changed. Maybe I should restart my phone or is there a reason why the memory usage hasn’t changed. It shows up on the sd card.

I want to make sure that your memories are safe and sound at all times! If you can verify that all of things you want transferred are safety on your SD card, then to clear up memory on your phone simply delete the saved material from your phone storage. Does this help?
