I cannot figure out for the life of me how to add a banner on my LG Ally. Does anyone know how to do this?
There is not an option on the LG Ally device of adding a banner.
If you use the app Antivirus you can set a message to your lock screen. Thats as close as i've found to a banner option
When I turn on my screen and before I unlock it, the display says "This phone belongs to". There must be a way to at least add your name here.
follow these steps:
1- open antivirus app
2- press physical menu button on phone
3- tap settings
4- tap remote management
5- tap lost message
You can then either enter a contact, or forget the contact and use the text before and text after as a type of "banner"
This is what was suggested and it actually works. I was impressed. It actually worked!!! For all those others wondering how to change the banner this is it! Good luck to all and thank you to the person that posted this before I did.
