LG G5 not sending messages

I had the same issue with my G3 so I upgraded 2 weeks ago to the G5. It will have periods of time where it won't send my texts they just sit in idle. I have full service. The battery will drain quickly. I'm not sure what is wrong with it. Anyone else have this issue?

yes majority of the time. But it has done it when not on the wi-fi as well

Let's get your service up and running. Are you using the stock text messaging application? Or are you using one you downloaded? Does this happen with a certain contact?

I am using the stock messaging app. But I'm having issues with the battery

draining super fast now as well and the phone gets very hot to the touch

I'm currently having the same issue. I'm using the Messaging app and my phone is burning up, the messages aren't being sent/received. And now the messages are not even loading. I have put it into Safe Mode, and I'm still getting the same issues. I'm not a happy camper. This phone is just over 6 months old. I had similar issues with my G4 as well.
