LG G7 ThinQ wont wake up

Regardless of charge level, when the screen times out and goes into standby it will not wake up when I press the power button. I have to do one of 2 things to wake it up. 1. Manually reboot the phone. 2. Connect to a power source. When connected to power it will go into standby and wake up using the power button. Unplug it from power and once it goes into standby it wont wake up. I have gone so far as perform a factory reset and even after that I still have the same issue. Suggestions?

Making sure you can fully utilize your device and not have to plug it in every time you want to use it is crucial. We're glad to help figure this out. It sounds like you've done a lot of good things to try to fix this. If you put the phone in safe mode, following the steps at https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-218151/ , does the same thing happen?

Previous to my post, I did go into safe mode and found that the issue still remained.
