Note 7 Battery Life Before and After??????????????

People that received New or replacement Note 7 how do you compare Battery Condition before and after the replacement or swap?

A. Does it get more or less Hot/warm during the wired or wireless charging?

B. Does it get more or less Hot/Warm during the updates?

C. How is the Battery Life? Does the Battery last longer or less with same Phone setting?

I am very disappointed! My first Note 7 rocked and had AMAZING battery life. The replacement Note 7 I got Thursday has terrible battery life, gets excessively hot while charging and while in use! I want my old Note 7 back! This is unacceptable.

Mine is doing fine. I turned off the rapid charge because I was still a little paranoid at first lol. It doesn't get warm/hot while charging or in use. The only exception was during the update. Battery life is a bit better than the first one. I also have Bluetooth on while using the free gear fit 2 for about 8-10hrs a day and have never been less than 50% when I get home. I'm pretty satisfied with my replacement. Just wish I could've gotten it in silver/titanium again but I wanted to be done with it asap.

A. It is the same, neither warmer nor cooler than the original Note 7 while charging either wired or wirelessly.

B. The updates produced the same amount of heat.

C. The batter on the replacement N7 holds a charge longer, and takes about 10 minutes longer to charge (from depleted) than the original Note 7.

So far as heat, the replacement Note 7 is actually cooler than the GS7E I was using as a loaner, during daily use and charging.

Should you expect differences in battery performance between two phones of the same model? I sure have over the years. .

I went to the store and did a refund since I was still within my 14 days. I returned it like I received it. When they got the new ones in, I got everything that was supposed to be included.

I exchanged my note7 yesterday and immediately noticed the battery drain. I did a quick search to see if i was losing my mind. Sure enough others are experiencing the same bs. This is absurd! My original note 7 was perfect, should have kept it. Now I don't know what to do. I'm sure Verizon will just blow us off and who knows when samsung will recognize this issue. What do we do? Who will listen to our concern and actually follow through? I am watching my battery level % decrease as i write this! 3% really? In less than a minute?! I haven't noticed a battery heating up issue. I did notice the battery % decrease while plugged in and then increased within ten minutes or so. Good luck to us I guess. $900 spent on a disappointment.

Hi, Did you transfer Apps from other Note 7 to new Note 7? If you did, go to Apps Store to updates all Apps because Apps just downgrade itself when transfer is done!!! Disable all unnecessary Apps that's are running in the background..........

I have had my new Note 7 for 6 days. No heat when charging or updating. The battery life is excellent. Battery life seems to be slightly better than the first Note 7. One change that I did on the first Note and the second Note was to turn off the always on display. Turning off the always on display seems to significantly enhance battery life.

I schedule always on display for 12 hrs. instead of always on........

Hi you can disable some Apps that you don't use or will never use also download Package Disabler Pro to disable some Bloatware to increase your Battery Life........

I am surprised to hear that. My daughter has the iPhone 6 and thinks my phone is so much better. She keeps telling me that she wishes she has it. She actually said that the ONLY reason she hasn't gotten the Note 7 is because she is constantly on FaceTime. In fact, I have an iPad Air 2 that I think is even a little slower than the Note 7. Just out of curiosity, what made you switch from the newest iPhone to the Note 7? It just dawned on me that maybe my experience is different because I am using Nova Launcher Prime. I guess using a launcher may make the phone function differently. You could try a launcher to see if you like that better. Hope that helps.

I left iPhone 7 plus because it was now different from my iPhone 6s. Apple can say all they want but the upgrades suck and the battery life is still bad.

Design of the note 7 is just beautiful and looks way better then the iPhone 7.

Flac udio support. I love my music to sound good and iPhone don't support flac without a 3rd party app.

No headphone jack and having to use a stupid adapter and not being able to charge my phone and use it with headphones non Bluetooth at the same time.

Samsung gear 2 classic smart watch is way better then the apple watch. I can still get calls even if I forget my phone.

Being able to theme my phone change the look use widgets etc.. I'm not stuck with what Apple wants.

External memory card. I have so much more storage now. 256GB is nothing when you have flac audio and RAW photos space goes quickly.

Wireless charging is great and I love it.

I think the camera and screen is way better then iPhone.

The spen is great being able to take quick notes and pin them to my lock screen is more useful then I thought.

Now all I want is for #samsung to fix battery life and this phone will be perfect.

Also one thing I dont like about the note 7 is it's not loud enough. IPhone is very loud with headphones. It seems like Samsung lowers the volume output.

I can't obviously help with the loudness, but I might be able to help with the battery life. Try the launcher. I am using Nova Launcher Prime, which I love. My battery life is the best that I've ever had on any phone. There is a free version, Nova Launcher, or you could try a different launcher. But, I love Nova Launcher Prime. I can't say for certain that it's the reason for my battery life, but it could be. I was having problems with battery life on a previous phone and I read an article that suggested a launcher to improve battery life. So I tried this one and it did help somewhat on that phone. It turned out that I liked the launcher so much that I bought the premium version and I've been using it on all my phones since. I think you'll like it even if it doesn't help with the battery life. You could try the free version to see if it helps with the battery life and always upgrade later if you see that it helps and/or like the other features. Good luck. I hope it works. If you find anything that helps, please let me know as well. I am always looking to improve my phone.

After disabling a bunch of Verizon bloatware and scrap with package disabled pro my battery life and phones performance saw a 50% increase.

Hey Verizon stop I installing scrap we don't need.

That's one thing I'll give Apple is they would never allow this crap.
