Phone won't start after charging all night

I left my moto gplay on the charger all night and now it won't restart. The only thing I haven't tried is removing the SIM card. It should simply slide out, I think, but it doesn't. Any tips?

This is never the experience that we want you to have when using a device, Monkeface. Does the device not fully boot up or does it attempt to start but stops? When you plug it into a charger, does it show any sign that it is charging? I ended up formatting my phone. It's working now.
