Picture Messaging not working again

Question

Picture Messaging often fails for me.  It is failing once again this morning, very frustrating.  Yesterday it was fine, so not a settings problem.  Text only messages work, but not with photo.  Fail whether text plus picture, or only picture.  Since I have unlimited messaging with family plan, this is the main reason I pay $140 per month for only 2 phones.  My phone is older Droid 4, updated to Android 4.4.  Is there a permanent fix for this frequent problem?  Or should I simply switch carriers?  Thanks for any information!   Cheers Bruce

Well have you Tried, like clearing the cache or Tried Factory Resetting the phone usually it's best when you move to one OS to another to clear the cache once or twice and if that don't fix the issue then Factory Reset the Device.. If I'm updating I'll F.R. the phone before or after Taking the new update..
