Currently have the LG - G6. Is the reception any better with the LG-V40, V50 or V60.
Most of my travel areas only have 1X voice - no LTE...
I have had the V30 and the reception is identical to the V60 I just acquired. However, the V60 does have 5G (which I opted out of). Depends on the areas you travel (I doubt you would get 5g in a 1x area). I think smart phones now have peaked on their receive/transmit power from their antennas. Reliability leans more on the cell towers that you pass and their capabilities.
A more expensive phone isn't going to make up for a dead zone.
I'm sorry that you experience reception issues when you travel, n3tno. All our devices are equipped to work with the same towers and in very similar manner, so changing your phone will not make much of a difference if you travel to areas with low signal. We can take a close look at any area if you contact us when you travel and experience service issues. How does this sound?
