Why do I have to download and install numerous app updates multiple times?

  Has anyone else experianced this problem?

because developers are constantly rebuilding and smoothing apps we have installed to reduce errors or bad performance.

I understand having to do many updates can be upsetting. We want to make sure everything is running properly. Where are you needing to do multiple updates at? What device do you have?

My device is a galaxy note 4 using the marshmallow 6.0 O.S.  I prefere to manually update selected apps and have 'auto update' disabled.

I receive requests for updates via notifications or I can find them in play store at 'my apps/all.

After each update a nessage scrolls on the the status bar saying ' app successfully installed.  Ive also verfied the updated app version was changed on the app.  Yet a couple days or sometimes longer i will get a notification for the same app updates.  And indeed an older version is running.

Not all apps are doing this.  Those that do include: amazon shopping, lookout anti virus and security, paypal, keepsafe and others.  Naturally I cannot verify this happens for other apps that I choose not to update.

  Yes i have verfied the new app update version has been installed prior to receiving another app update notification.

  I have notified Lookout support of this and await their reply.

I followed all instructions fully, and to the extreme care as it stated in the "phone updates" under settings

I just read where verizon has a deal going,  4/$150

Although  , we only have a 3 household family.  The only reason this is a consideration is of my device issues.  It's extremely frustrating  , I don't believe you do understand,  your a verizon representative. .

.you have issues,  you get replacement or correction immediately as it's THE MAIN TOOL TO YOUR CAREER.  As is mine, I just am not an employee of the network that cannot stand behind the devices the sell and mandate Samsung either fix asap,  or replace effected device's.  Simply end contract with Samsung. ...that's catches their attention immediately.

I understand this can be concerning. When a new software update is installed on the device there are some applications that are built into the software that must be updated. When you spoke to Lookout what did they advise?
