I bought a Moto Z (Droid) from the local Verizon store and when I try to register my phone with Motorola the serial number says my phone is a Moto Z Play. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I tell the difference between the Z and the Play?
No problem. The Moto Z Droid says,'moto' just over the home button.

Thank you for the info. I also contacted Motorola about the serial number, they said the mistake is only there problem and not Verizon's.
