In messages+ what is Enable delivery toast for?
Hi, if you check the "Enable Delivery Toast" check box. once the phone receives confirmation that your message was delivered, it pops a "toast" message indicating that it was delivered regardless of where you are in your phone or what app you are in. Hope this helps.
It is a pop up reply, think bread toaster...the message pops up.
Yea I don't see anything different. Besides the fact it doesn't say delivered even after the other party opens it.
Delivered only shows when you are texting another Verizon user. That message only means it was delivered to the phone, not that it was opened or read.
thank you for answering my tedious question. Yea I'm aware of that my husband has Verizon and we have everything marked as normal but doesn't say delivered anymore. Also wondering what the delivery toast was for which what you have told me I see no change maybe it needs to be fixed.
This was an option before the update also, but it was called something else.
Does enabling delivery toast apply to just my end of the conversation??

KBKGA,
Knowing what the Delivery Toast does is always a good thing, and I'd be happy to assist with this. The Delivery Toast will only be for you, and does not apply to other users. Take a look at the user rsolbergh who posted what this looks like. Let us know what other questions or concerns you might have.
