What's going on here with the status of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (Silver Titanium)??

Hello - Yes, I did finally receive the plan confirmation & bill expectation emails as well as shipping info. So, it looks like I am good to go. I should have them in hand Friday, which is the date the billing starts. As long as there are no delays, there won't be any dual billing between carriers

If I may offer feedback, timely and consistent information to folks would have been widely appreciated. As you can see from all of the postings, people excited about these things. Simple, clear communication would have prevented a lot of hard feelings. Oh, and getting the CS Reps up to speed. That would be huge!

Glad to hear that we can expect them to ship today! I am moving two phones over from Sprint and was starting to get worried because of all the horror stories I have been reading about delays and such. I have two Silver Edges ordered and nothing has hit my credit card yet and I am still showing "Processing" status.

I was starting to wonder if I should consider cancelling the order and going to T-Mobile or AT&T since they are shipping and users already have them.

I have pre ordered the s7 edge in silver. My ship date says 3/31/2016. It is my understanding that in order to receive the vr gear, i have to redeem it by the 31st. That will be impossible to do if you are not even shipping until the 31st. Very frustrating!!!! Help with this would be good. I do not want another color.

I'm in the same boat as you, very frustrated by this whole thing. Ship date on the 31st which will leave me unable to register for the gear s2.

I was told in store that I could change color. I really dont want to do that.

I'm in the same boat myself. Pre-ordered a silver s7 edge around 8pm on Feb. 23rd, order status on website still says processing with ship date of 3/11/16. On the Verizon App, order status still says processing and has the placeholder ship date of 11/17/1858. Nothing on my bank account shows a charge yet past paying my bill already. Holding out hope that everything is still on track and the updating is just going slowly, but can't help being a little annoyed either. I mainly pre-ordered due to the added value of the Gear S2 promotion. If I get knocked out of that due to not being able to order until later that day because of work, I'm gonna be more than a little upset.

I have the exact situation with my order as well. I placed the order on February 25th for two silver edge phones and am growing increasingly frustrated. The whole reason I did so was to get the s2 and I have to say it is extremely upsetting that others who ordered later than I are already having the order shipped. Been with Verizon for ten plus years and if I miss out on the promotion i will probably leave to another carrier

I hate to admit it, but I'm getting more annoyed by the hour. If I could get some kind of explanation on what the hold up is that would be great. In fact, I'll be fine so long as I get the phone within the period of the promotion. Honestly, people who pre-ordered wanting the promotion but are unlucky enough to be put on back order should really either get an extension on the promotion or get the amount of money off of their phones equivalent to the dollar amount of the promotion. If I'm cheated out of the promotion all together though, I will be looking at competing carrier's pricing.

I, as well as a few others, have been billed but with a ship date of 3/31. I guess we are all feeling that you are advertising on your site a promotion that you can not fulfill. I was not informed when I pre ordered that you must have your receipt AND redeem by the 31st. I had to find that out myself reading the fine print after I had already been charged the sales tax.

So, I am thinking since my phones are still just stuck in processing while so many others have shipping info and deliveries starting to arrive, that it is not worth porting my two numbers over from Sprint. This is not a great way to start a relationship when AT&T and T-Mobile are shipping and at least have accurate information. I can't see how I will have my phones in hand by Friday at this point. I was really excited about moving everything to Verizon but now it just really rings of a bad idea..... <sigh>.

Yeah, definitely not a great way to lure in customers. Plus to add insult to injury, I keep getting pre-order advertising on my Facebook feed from Verizon! UGH! I am feeling so frustrated and Verizon really doesn't care.

An update. I was charged on my account a couple of hours ago for the taxes on the phone and the ship date on the Verizon app is now reading 3/7/16. I suppose a shipping label has been created and hopefully that means it'll ship tomorrow.

I ordered a silver S7 Edge in silver online on the 23rd. I received an order email that day that it would ship by 3/11. When I go into my account from a webpage it says its Processing still. There are no shipping dates or any dates listed other than the date it was ordered. . When i goto My Orders from the Android appbot says I have no orders... My credit card hasn't been charged tax. When i call and chat Verizon they assured me repeatedly that it would be shipped by 3/11. Why do i see others that have ordered days after me with their phones shipped? Why does my order show zero movement? If my phone has no movement by Thurs I'm saying byebye Verizon and going to Tmobile due to Verizon's incompetence in being able to do a preorder event and keep their customers correctly notified whats going on with their preorders...

I think there are a lot of people like me here having S7 edge silver promotion issues. Promotion motivated me to place an order. I, too, ordered S7 edge silver. When it came to redeem I was shocked when I saw I needed IMEI on redeem website. Advertisement was not clear and like others said. I first contact Verizon, CSs keep telling we are still eligible but I contacted promotion company's contact center. they clearly say if you don't enter IMEI by 03/31, then no promotion.

Verizon should not keep telling people you had no control over this. You had control over your webpage and could have noted that we need to have the device to get the promotion. We are your customers not Samsung's. We ordered phone at Verizon website, checking the terms on your website. And you should help for us to solve this issue with Samsung. I am sure there are many executives at Verizon who have sit side by side Samsung executive each day. This is a simple issue to fix. Raise your customers' issue and ask them to fix this.

If you still cannot fix it, tell us our IMEI numbers in advance so that we can redeem the offer before we had the devices.

On the other hand I have a complaint against one of Verizon chat associates. How can I file a complaint?

I was told when the VR/Gear S2 site went live I'd be able to enter my order number to register. That isnt the case at all. . Verizon told me on the phone if their order system screwed up they would get me a Gear S2 at their cost or credit my account the $350 price of the of the Gear S2 if the promos were all gone due to their preorder nightmare. They said they didn't want to lose me as a customer. .

That is incorrect, I have 2 phones delivered tomorrow from Memphis via UPS.... received notification from My Choice via UPS for shipment arriving between 12:45-2:45pm.

Update: My husband's S7 Edge shipment date has changed to 03-07-2016, but today, it still says processing. I'm hopefully it would ship soon so we can get on with the promotion.

Mine on the other had has been shipped and will be here tomorrow. ^_^ I really hope everything and everyone's problems will be resolved soon.

So annoyed with Verizon… Preordered Black Edge at 9:30 on 2/23 through my Enterprise account using a buddy upgrade, since my line isn’t eligible until next week. Since then, I’ve been patiently waiting, lurking here and other forums, watching the excitement build.

Yesterday morning, I had an email from Verizon, but not my expected ship notification. Instead the email said that my order had not been completed – “{PHONE#} is not eligible for upgrade until 3/15/2016. Please confirm if you still want to use another line that is eligible to upgrade?”

Well, duh, I know my line isn’t eligible, which is why I did a buddy upgrade in the first place… Logged on to Enterprise account and my status said the order was “Completed” with an estimated ship date of 3/11. With the discrepancy between not completed/completed, I figured I better give Verizon Customer Service a call to be sure my order is still OK. CS rep checks a couple things, says the order is good, should ship soon, so I’m feeling good.

Yesterday afternoon, I’m seeing everyone talking about tracking numbers, picking up phones at BB, etc. and decide to check my status again. Still no ship info and my order status being “Completed” starts to worry me – in my world, “completed” means done, over, finished, as in if it’s complete, the phone should have been shipped, delivered and in my hands. So, I hit up the Verizon chat to find out if they can tell me any more info. Chat-lady looks it up and tells me that there is not any shipping info and when she tries to open the order, she gets an error message. So she thinks we should re-order the phone! On top of that, her system is showing an iPhone on the order!!!

Call up CS again, the CS agent looks into it for a while and discovers the problem – the line I used for the buddy upgrade was discontinued 3 days after I placed the original order, so that’s why my order is in no-man’s land. And, we need to place a new order.

Why was there no notification when the line was deactivated? Why wasn’t I notified? Why wasn’t the main system admin notified? Why did my order sit in limbo for a week and a half? Why didn’t the first CS rep I talked to yesterday morning tell me this? Why didn’t the CS chat person tell me this?

When the order was placed again, she told me the expected ship date was 3/11. I really hope I get my phone this week because, you know that’s the reason I preordered it 2 weeks ago!! On top of it, I could miss out on the Gear freebies because of this. (Full disclosure: when I preordered, I wasn’t even aware of this deal, I just wanted the phone. And not even 100% sure I qualify anyway, since it's an Enterprise order. So, this isn’t a major issue for me, but still…)

OK, end of my rant. Fingers crossed that I have a new phone soon. For all those getting them in the next few days, enjoy!

So, has anyone gone ahead and cancelled their order? I guess my question to Verizon Wireless Customer Support is: What is the point of a pre-order if they won't ship until on or after the release date? Doesn't that become a "Post-Order" then? Wouldn't it make more sense to just go to a store and get them? I mean, in basically every city now, you can't walk 10 feet without hitting another cell phone store/carrier!

I think the promotion is off the table now since so many people have already either received their phones or shipping confirmation they will be delivered in the next day or two. My guess is the watches will be long gone!

Yes, I know in the grand scheme of life and the world, this isn't a big deal, but it is a lot of money to commit for a long period of time.

And please, I beg you, quit pushing the Facebook adds to Pre-Order the Galaxy S7 and Edge!! That ship has sailed and really just rubs salt in a festering wound!

Well, ordering was a simple process. The problem was after the fact. How could a line that has a new equipment order attached to it get discontinued (by our system admin), without any sort of flag/notification? And how does that order appear to be processing normally, with no notifications for 10 days? And the worst part, how did a CS rep tell me that everything is fine with the order when I called in?!?!?

If I hadn't contacted CS two more times on the same day, I'd still be waiting for an update, when it appears my order was cancelled/lost somehow! And for that matter, how did three different CS reps have wildly different answers for me when I asked about this order? This wasn't a simple discrepancy in a shipping date or something - one told me everything was A-OK with my order, another told me they got an error when trying to open the order (for a different device no less) and the third finally was able to figure out what was really going on.

Hugely disappointed with your customer service!

So I called verizon about an hour ago. I asked theme how come my wife's gold edge has been shipped but my silver edge has not. I told them I ordered the silver first. He looked into it and he said that it could be due to back order. He said you will get it when the next shipment arrives. He said however you may not see it until 3-31 or 4-2. He said since you ordered one. 2-28 you should receive it around the 11. I told him I was told the 11 and imy having it shipped to my hotel I'm staying at for work which is 600 miles fronorth home. He said they are doing their best. I also mentioned about how the store rep said I was eligible for a vr or s2 but I heard the s2 is online only. He said fromy what I see its for everyone. I also said if I was to receive my phone after 3-31 what will happen about the promotion? He said well you qualify so it shouldn't matter. But I will be contacting samsung and when I get home I will be going to Verizon were I purchased the phone and complain on how the told me I had the choice of vr or s2

The better question is what came first? The preorder or the new promotion? From what I remember the only promotion available when the preorder went live was the VR promotion. The S2 or VR promotion came after the fact but I am not 100% sure.

What a bunch of [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] by Verizon. I ordered mine 3 minutes after open orders on 2/23 and the [removed] at Verip-off couldn't figure out how to ship it properly. It's still processing. [removed] ?? If I don't get my phone on time (I need it for an important trip) I'm cancelling that [removed] and going to T-Mobile. No wonder T-Mobile is kicking Verizon's [removed]

I woke up to a tracking number for my Silver S7 edge order in my e-mail. Verizon app and the website are both updated to reflect that the order has shipped and the tracking number is on them as well. Mine is being shipped through UPS so the tracking number in UPS system doesn't have it's info updated yet to show a delivery time, but I'd imagine it will be on Thursday.

I preordered my S7 Edge in Titanium on the 2/23 online. I had an order number that just says processing. How is it that people that preordered them in the same color on 2/28 are having them shipped for deliver tomorrow and I'm still waiting around with Processing in my order?!

I may just cancel mine altogether if my ship date doesnt change. I will either try instore, or maybe try another carrier. Tired of the Verizon run around.

I just got off the phone with a Customer Service Rep about the status of my

husband's S7 Edge (silver titanium) - super nice lady by the way. She said

the S7 Edges were being released earlier than the original date of 3/11/16.

So honestly I would be happy also the silver titanium is a very popular

color right - it may be on backorder until the next shipment comes in. My

husband's shipping date was for yesterday 3/7/16 but it's been shipped yet;

it's still processing. Also, it could be in the process of them creating

the label or tracking number which is why it may not show online.

My gold platinum will be here tomorrow, and his may too or Thursday.

I guess as long as we get them on or before the 11th, we'd be satisfied.

@I just got off the phone with Internet Orders support and they fixed everything no one in chat or the *611 customer services reps could see or do. I had paid off my Verizon Edge Note 4 right before I ordered my S7 and for some reason the system wasn't automatically taking out the taxes for the new phone as it should have. This is what delayed my order the whole time!!! The rep manually made it take out the taxes and then bam, I was good to go. All the PDF order documents showed up in my My Verizon Inbox as soon as she did that. She said the system is experience glitches with the orders for some. Call this #, 866-338-7390 if you ordered your phone online and it's still stuck on Processing, etc. The one was able to find out was going on ASAP unlike all the previous customer services reps online and when you called *611. She said mine should ship tonight. Whew!!!! I knew something was wrong and I wouldn't take no for an answer no matter how many times they said no. It was all because their system screwing up and not charging me for the order why it kept saying Processing. Let me know what they say! StephMtnz

Ordered the S7 Edge in silver on Feb. 29th when I ordered it promised delivery by 3/11 but my order still just says processing on the My Orders page. The other 'check my status' page sent via email says expected shipping date of 3/11. Confusing why there are multiple places to look up the status of an order.

Really hoping it ships soon as the main reason I pre-ordered was for the GearVR/S2 promotion.

My status is stuck in processing and now I am thinking that since Verizon already has my money they are in no hurry to ship out the product. Just fyi. I ordered online, silver titanium 2/24, my card charged yesterday, I just received FedEx tracking number, leaving Memphis. Should have by 8pm 3/10. Hope this helps put some at ease. They, (silver titanium), are going out!!

i ordered mine in store on the 29 the app says order details are currently not available please check back later. On the mobile site it says still processing with a delivery date of 3/11. On my desktop it says still processing with no delivery date but a in store pick up. Im so confused. i paid the taxes and extras in the store (cash) so i know they got my money it comes up in my Verizon Edge Installment Agreement that im paid, so whats really good. I just want my new phone

By the way, when I pre ordered the phone on Feb 29th, it specified that they will arrive by March 11th, and I did pre ordered it because I wanted to have the promotion of the Gear S2. Otherwise, I would have waited at the store for March 11th and get it right away.So I hope the status changes between tonight and tomorrow to be able to get them by Friday or Saturday. But most important... I expect that Verizon have enough Gear S2 for everybody that pre order online because nobody wants the VR glases... those VR glases are offered everywhere and every carrier. I got an e mail today saying that there was a problem with my charge and to call them I call and they said they had to cancel that order and re do the order so when I when in to ok it it changed my order to a delivery date of 3 29 and when I told the guy that wouldn't do since I pure ordered he said he would send a note to take care of it.now that I'm reading all this if I don't get my phone by the 11 th they can deal with my lawyer.

I got charged for both a galaxy s7 black and galaxy s 7 edge silver and the Verizon app shows the shipping date as the 7th too but online it still shows the 11th, But no tracking info. Talked to cs and they have no Idea what's going on. I just want to make sure I'm home the day I'm getting it so I can fill out the promo form. Kinda frustrating

if it shipped on the 7th it should be here by tomorrow. It does specify in my purchase confirmation email it was 2 day shipping. But I'm with you man really dissapointed with this whole process.

Mine says it has shipped. Ordered silver & gold edge 2-27-16 in store. Picked up at 7:52pm CT in Memphis & scheduled to be delivered in store in Sioux Falls, SD by 4:30pm Thursday. Finally!! I just hope that stays true.

Is it because you "Accidentally" ripped me off by charging me instantly when I was assured on the phone several times that I would not be charged until it ships? It also states this everywhere on the internet, this defiantly sounds like something I should be contacting a lawyer about. The shipping promise may not be legally binding, but charging for something before shipping, when your fine print says this won't happen is legally binding.

Care to give me any answers?

I want to say right off its just a phone and I can wait...my ship date is the 11th. I made the error of ordering the Titanium s7 edge...but I just have to say I have been with Verizon for 20 years. They weren't even Verizon then and they really dropped the ball on this one. The communication...different answers from different cs agents....the biggest company being the last to the game. We are all worried about submitting our promos and the worst part is..if I had pre-ordered with Best Buy I could have walked in yesterday and got my silver edge. I didn't do that because I wanted the gear s2. Anyone want to take bets on how many of us get them ? It would be great if verizon communicated info about it but at this point you can't believe anything because you don't know how informed the person is.....so folks....I'm going to sit back and wait for my 11/7/1858 shipping to add a tracking number to it and be greatly disappointed in Verizon. I'd love to hear what their customers feel about whether they really care about us or not. I know it's all big business and all about money....but man Im paying $257 a month and I don't always want to be the last one .....use your muscle verizon....make us happy.

Jared....did you have a 3/11 ship date ?

Ingress. I originally had 3/11 ship date. I got update last night about 7:30 that my shipment was changed to 3-7 but just finally shipped 24 hours later.

congrats man hopefully I get some news soon. Ordered on the 27th in the morning. Just playing the waiting game . Don't like it lol

No sooner did I finish my long rant and asked jared about his ship date...I checked mine and it had updated to a ship date of today but was still processing. No tracking. ...but it's progress...I'll take it !

I was getting frustrated too. I just hope I won't be too late for VR promo. I hope luck is on my side. Hopefully more FedEx or UPS trucks are out there picking them up.

my order has shipped!! My wife is going to be ecstatic she doesn't know I pre-ordered. Should get them on Thursday also now if spigen would ship my cases lol first world problems. Have fun with your new devices guys

Just got tracking number this morning so looks like I should get it Friday. Good deal...

What was most frustrating to me was that there are at least 3 different places to check order status and all 3 were showing different information.

For somebody as obsessive as I am when I'm excited/impatient it can be very irritating to not have that consistency.
