Where are my contacts?

I just got the LG Ally today and the tech put all my contacts on the phone. They were there and then they disappeared. I went to Contacts-menu-display options-gmail-all other other contacs and turned it on, which brought them back, but now they all show up as UNKNOWN with no other info?! How do I get them back?!!!!!! Thank you in advance :smileyhappy:

Try on phone: contacts; menu; display options; select your gmail; check all the boxes. Can also try logging into gmail on the PC check to see if contacts are under My Contacts label. If not add to contacts label and re-sync the phone contacts.
