I'm not a fan of duplicate text messages either. I will be happy to help get this resolved for you. When did this start? Is it only happening with one contact or all contacts? What make and model phone do you have?

I just got my S8+ and now I'm getting duplicate messages. Doesn't happen when a picture is sent, but doesn't seem to discriminate by contact!
