Why doesn't Verizon just replace everyone's PREVIOUS phone, refund all taxes and upgrade fees and then reset line upgrade status to PRE Note 7 disaster? That is the ONLY right thing to do.

People that wanted the Note 7 don't WANT any other phone! They want their traded in phone; back AND their upgrade status (before the Note 7) You people surely understand? You act like you don't. You need to hey them a comparable phone to what they had. THAT is on YOU! And reinstate their upgrade status! That's what they want.

...the only thing verizon was not confused for the whole process is: making sure they always took our money first up-front. It's better for them to "hold" our money while they are still settling with Samsung at the background.
On top of that, they are in all that benefit to ask of of us (Note7 owners) to clear up all their unwanted S7 stocks. What a 0% discount clearance event!
Wow, that's a win-win for them!! Good job Verizon!
