I just got the HTC droid eris. What is the browser used for internet browsing??
It's just called "Browser". Standard Android Browser, I guess.
I downloaded the free "Dolphin" browser from the Android marketplace. I like it better than the standard browser.

I prefer the Operah browser app. That one is pretty good.
I definitely do like the Dolphin browser over the stock one, with one exception. The stock (well, HTC-modified) Android browser has Flash-lite support. The Dolphin browser presently has zero Flash support. I found out about Dolphin when they made a big deal about it gaining multi-touch. The HTC browser already has that, but Dolphin has much better navigation and tab management controls, so if you can live without Flash for now, it's the better way to go.
