how can I just get the manual for my droid? I'd like to save it and print it...
Google search.
what kind of droid? original droid? droidX, droidPro, droid2????
google is your friend. "(type of droid) user manual"
I found the manual for my Droid 4 on the Verizion web site by typing in on the search window "Droid 4 by Motorola Support".
It takes you to a tutorial and under the How To window it has Device Manual. Click on it and it will take you to it and you can print it. Good luck.
Simply go to the Motorola.com site. click on your specific phone. In services you will find Manuals (you might have to look for it, but it is there). Once you find manuals, click on the specific manual you want, probably the Owner's Manual. It should be in pdf format. Finally click on the save icon (the icon that looks like an IBM floppy disk). This should download it to your computer. You really don't have to print it out (why waste paper) when you have an electronic version on your computer whenever you want. You could also put a copy on your cell phone using the USB connection.
If you have a Droid 4, in the Motorola site, Droid 4 section, go to Owners Forum (or something like that). It's the last tab to the right. Then, under the phone, the second tab is Manuals. Click on that. Then just follow the suggestions I gave you above.
If you go to the Droid 4 under "shop smartphone" and click on the simulator you will see the option to download the manual on the bottom left of the screen (at the very bottom). Hope that helps.
