I have been noticing on my verizon bill my text log has strange phone numbers that are received and a couple of them are sent to the numbers 0000 224 444 or 000 0036 878. what could this possibly be from? is it the 2 step verification code?
Looks like short code from a business or app that uses 5-6 digit "short codes" to send a text to you like when you sign up for a service or get special offers and sometimes for example, Google and Microsoft text verification codes to a user from a short code number.
