Block non-contact calls on flip phone

My 90 year old mother has a flip phone that rings every 15 minutes all day long from spam callers. She gave her bank info out this week to one of them. Is there a way to block all calls that are not from someone in her contacts automatically? My iphone does that but I don't know if it can be done with a flip phone or not.

I would guess this depends on the model of the phone. Have you tried using a search engine to look up the phone model and see if it has such a feature?

Another alternative is to check the account settings and see if there's a way to block all calls not from known contacts. Back when I had a VoIP landline, my provider had such an option within the account settings to do this. Good luck and I'd have a fraud alert put out on whatever accounts your mother gave the information out. That's really maddening that crooks can still spoof numbers and con people.

Birdercroakie, having an older relative myself, I get not wanting them to get bombarded by those calls. We can see what options you've got with her phone to try and block some calls. Can you share what kind of phone she has, the make and model?
