How can I find and read old text messages that are no longer on my phone.

I need to recover old text messages for court. How can I read and retrieve them.

Hello, Junkman12345, thanks for reaching out in reference to text message retrieval. Do you happen to have your text messages backed up? 

 

If this is not an option, you can view the last 90 days of messaging usage (phone numbers) via My Verizon. Or the last 7 days of messaging content can be retrieved via court order. Please have your attorney reach out so we can help process this request.
