Gmail is giving this error when attempting to open.
Go to the gmail app in Settings, app manager. Clear the cache. Then, try rebooting the phone.
If that doesn't work, remove and then re-add the gmail account. If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall the Gmail app.

Help is here! Making sure you can access your email is pretty important. Letโs make sure we get this resolved. SuzyQ gave some helpful tips. Did any of those work? If not, please allow us to look into this further. When did this problem start to happen? Does the gmail app in the Google Play store need to be updated?

I had the same problem with Gmail a few days ago. It was an unexpected error. I have taken help from Gmail error 007 and they said that it is the server issue. They resolved it very soon. You may have the same issue so, You should contact them.
