There is one person in my contacts who, when I receive their texts, it has a red exclamation. They have an iPhone and I have an Android. I am using the regular text message application.

This started happening a few months ago. I thought it was Olay but it's annoying. Yes they do rwcieve my text messages
It's good to know that the text messages are working. Let's work toward resolving this! It is possible that there is one corrupt text file that's affecting the thread. Please delete the thread, and test again to see if the exclamantion point goes away.

I tried deleting the thread and the exclamation mark is still there.

I'd like to see this cleared up so that it no longer is an annoyance to you. We won't give up until this is working smoothly for you. What model phone do you have? Do you notice this with any other iPhone contact that messages you or is it only this one contact?

I have an HTC One model number HTC6500L. The other iPhone contacts I message are completely fine. It is just this one contact.

That's interesting. Let's get this red exlamanation mark fixed once and for all. Please go ahead and remove the contact completely and then re-add it to see if that clears it. Thanks!
