Message on phone regarding global roaming when I am home

I received a message on my phone asking about allowing global roaming but I was home in the US. Is this normal? Or is there someone trying to get into my phone network?

Did the message say "No network available switch to Global Mode" or did it specifically say "roaming" in the message? I know that if the phone has a hard time locking onto a CDMA signal it will ask to switch to Global, that is, if you had the network set to CDMA/LTE.

You can check network settings in the main settings menu and under Mobile Networks or More-Mobile Networks then tap Network Mode. Might be different for each different phone.
