Is it possible if one line broke a phone but they are not eligible for an upgrade but another line who is willing to keep it's phone and give an upgraded phone to the line in need of a new phone?
I did the same similar thing. I was able to upgrade my line but I knew if I did my wife would like too. So I used my daughter line upgrade date on her line for her phone and my daughter ca nget a new phone on my wifes upgrade date in a few month. I think customers who been with the same carrier for 10 years or more should have all hte perks and don't have to wait for an upgrade date of two years should be able to after one with a discount or even a free phone.
I was able to upgrade 2 months early. I was going to use another line upgrade date, but it was still a few days early. They allowed me to upgrade my line at the same price. I found that if you don't get the answer you want from customer service, call back to speak with a different representative. Each representative seems to interpret the policies differently.
Well we already ordered a new phone under another line so basically were trading numbers instead of me being my own number ill be the line with the upgraded phone's number and the line will take over my number...I know it's confusing, but I love my number and im very social so I'm going to have to tell everybody my new number. But Is there a way to keep the same numbers because I think It's doesnt apply for a line that recently upgraded it's device to take over a smartphone because I must wait another year in order to get the discount and that would be cheating wouldnt it? But I love my number! Anyway to keep it??
Hello everybody,
The feedback on the original post is correct. Just to clarify, when there is a line that is eligible to upgrade, a device can be ordered activated on another telephone number on the acct. The line that is eligible does have to agree to a 2-yr term, even though the phone is not used on this line. As far as the line that will be using the device, it's upgrade date will remain the same.
I hope this clarifies the answer that other members posted.
Thank you...
