trying to transfer from Droid xt1254 to newly purchased Moto G power. Every time I get to pairing step the verizon transfer app crashes on Moto G
Your Google account syncs the important stuff like contacts, calendar events etc. For photos, I prefer phones with a micro SD card for easy transfer. Alternatively, Google has its own cloud service.
