phone shuts off after being fully charged

Question

i have a droidx. and my battery keeps dying out even though its fully charged. it automatically shuts down in attemp to

make calls or send messages. i have tried taking out the battery and reseting it but still wont work. when i charge it

it doesnt show that its charging. only shows a question mark on the screen. what else can i do?? its only been a month since

i purchased the phone..

Thank you for your inquiry. Adding to what was stated, sounds like your battery is completely dead. In this case, you would want to charge it up completely via your wall outlet and not your usb connection. This is because the USB connection serves a dual purpose for connecting to the computer and charging of which could confuse the exact action of just charging your phone. Plug your device into the wall outlet to let it charge in the off position. Please allow the device to charge completely before using the device. Afterward, disconnect the phone from the wall outlet before powering it back on to see if this resolves the issue.
