I used to be able to save pictures from text messages to VZ Media in my Gallery. The menu to "Save to media" is there. When I click on it a "Saved" message pops up, but the picture isn't saved. What's up?
Did you try utilizing your built in file explorer to look around or connecting it to a computer?
Whenever I save anything on my S20, it goes to storage/emulated/0

Being able to save your information is important as we do so much on our phones these days. What is the make and model of your phone? Are you not able to save it to your phones actually memory/gallery?
I also have not been able to save photos from text messages. Looks like it stopped working end of June. I have a Samsung Note8.
Same problem here on my Samsung S7 edge. Pictures stopped saving a few days ago.
Being able to save your photos is essential. We're sorry to learn that you're experiencing problems on your Samsung S7 Edge. Which application are you using for photos?

Same here. I have a galaxy a21. I noticed it stopped a few weeks ago.
My Save to media is not working
I am having the same problem with Galaxy S9. The VZ media folder is in the gallery and when I do a "save to VZ Media" is says that it SAVED but when I go look at the VZ media folder in my gallery it has not added the picture and I can't seem to find it in other albums either. Has anyone found a fix for this?
We can provide a path to a resolution, not to worry! What model device do you have? Please walk us through the process to the very point where you hit a roadblock, thanks.

We want to make sure that we get all the information that we can. Have you ever been able to save photos in this file? How long has this been happening? Additionally, is your device software fully up to date at this time? *Robert
Has there been a "fix" for this yet? I'm having the same issue with no longer being able to save photos in texts to VZMedia. Started about a couple of weeks ago. It claims the photo is saved but the photo does not show up in the VZMedia file in my gallery files. Samsung Galaxy S8 phone. All updates are current.
That's definitely a long time to experience this issue and I want to ensure we're able to turn things around. Have you made any recent changes to your phone? Are you receiving any error messages? -Lorenzo
I recently noticed the same issue with my S9 plus. It is really frustrating!
Same problem here. I choose "save to vz media" from my Message+ app on my Galaxy S9. It says "saved, but when I go into my VZ Media folder there are no recent pictures there from the past week or so.
SE0,
We know how important it is to be able to save your media, and we are here to help! We need a little more information, to better understand what might be happening. In your save options, is "save to vz media" the only one listed, or do you have other options to save? If you save in another location, do the pictures save properly?
-Michelle
Thanks for replying. My only options from the menu are "send to new recipient", save to vz media, and delete.
Thank you for these additional details. It certainly is inconvenient to see that your pictures are not being saved. Are you using the Verizon Messages+ application? If yes, do you have any updates available? ~Gina
It's 10/26/21 - I have the exact same problem on my S9.
Has anyone found a fix for it? it really is aggravating when we've been able to save pics/screenshots for years to VZ Media !!!
Fix anyone?

We never want you having any issues with your VZ media. What messaging app are you using? When did this issue begin?
-Angie
I was able to find my saved VZMedia in an obscure folder. I connected my phone to my laptop and used Windows Explorer to look at the files. This is where they were:
\Internal storage\Download\(invalid)\VZMedia
Clearly this is not the right location! I couldn't find any place on the app to set the default location to store any media, you would think there would be an option to store it in Internal Storage or on a SD card in your phone.

I am just adding to that, same on S20
