Apple One Perk - Can't Set Up - "Cannot Connect"

I just signed up for the Apple One perk. When I try to set it up, it just says "cannot connect."  If I go to subscriptions on my phone, click on Verizon Plan Benefits, it also goes to the same page that says "cannot connect." I can't access any of the benefits from the perk.
