Flat tire service

I called Verizon roadside assistance because I wasn't aware that the roadside assistance my husband and I bought when buying my car followed me to another state. So I paid the 99 dollar fee to have a tire changed (since my husband died there was one else I could call) only to find out when the guy got here, that I have wheel lock on my tire and no key (we were never given one when we bought the car). Needless to say the guy could not change the tire. So when I called for a refund they wouldn't give it to me. I said I would be perfectly happy to pay for the guy's time but I was pretty sure that didn't come to 99 dollars. Nope they wouldn't do it!!

Iโ€™m sorry for your loss, Maโ€™amโ€ฆ I read your post and immediately wished that you lived near me, I would have helped you.  You mentioned not having anyone else to help you, Iโ€™m curious if you use social media. If you use facebook, a lot of the time there will be groups in the town you live in called something similar to,                                  โ€œI need help in (the town/city you live in)โ€. You can find it in the search bar by entering the name above and pressing enter. From my experience, most towns have something similar and thereโ€™s always someone willing to help from my experience. Also I assume that you looked in the glove compartment, console, and door panels for the key to your tire. Usually thatโ€™s where itโ€™s kept. If nothing else the local auto parts store should have a replacement. Best wishes to you.
