Google Account Verification Stuck with Old Number

Does Verizon have any ability to access an old phone number’s text messaging,so I can regain access to my Google Account and update my phone verification?

That sounds more like an issue for Google Support to look into.  If it's been more than 45 days since you changed your number, the old number could very well be recycled to someone else by now.

Tried Google Support already,  haven’t heard back or gotten any help unfortunately
