Netflix / max perk

I  have been trying for two weeks to activate my max perk. Had no problem with Netflix but max is grayed out and it tells me to try back later. When I called for help they transferred me to Max who said I had to call back Verizon to link the accounts.  On the max side you can only log in via  Fios which I do not have. Is there a fix for this? I’m about to cancel altogether. This is incredibly frustrating
