The Verizon Credit card

Advertised as a metal card and i received not just a plastic card but the cheapest most awful version of plastic too.  Starting to degrade in the first week.  I have a nice wallet and i don't want this thing in there, so my spending on the card will be far less than originally expected.

You're definitely not alone in this frustration—many Verizon Visa cardholders have reported the same disappointment after expecting a metal card but receiving flimsy plastic instead. Some users even mentioned that their plastic cards started degrading quickly, just like yours.

Verizon quietly discontinued the metal version of the card, and now all new and replacement cards are issued in plastic. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to request a metal version anymore.

If this affects how much you plan to use the card, you might want to reach out to Verizon Visa customer support and express your dissatisfaction. Some users have suggested that Verizon should at least offer a premium metal version for higher spenders or allow customers to pay a fee to get a metal card.

It might be worth pushing for a better option!
