I don’t know what to do, been given the run around. I had a lot of Verizon dollars but literally disappeared. It’s been a while but I’ve been giving the classic call Verizon up call synchrony, call Verizon wireless. What’s the point of having a credit card when they take away your rewards? Honestly I should’ve just called the bbb because both Verizon and synchrony are no help. Anyone have any advice or anyone have the same issue?

Verizon Dollars are a great incentive for using your Verizon Visa card and we're sorry to hear that they disappeared. We want to make sure you're able to get the help you need. When did they first disappear? Are they showing up at all in the credit card statement?

No there not. I had about $500ish dollars a few months back but they disappear. My son has his Verizon credit card and when he uses his Verizon dollars to redeem it they take his points and my points! Our cards are not linked and have a different name different ssn, and different dob. I’ve called everyone but I’m always being told to call the synchrony or to call Verizon up or to call wireless. It’s a headache, I just want to know what to happened to my Verizon dollars. I’ve never redeemed them.

Honestly, this has been going on the beginning of this year. I’ve checked my statements and never received a statement credit. I wanted to save up a big amount and redeem as a gift card. When my son has a few points he redeemed via HIS card and I found out it was taking his points + my points and only giving one gift card. I called and like I said I was given the run around. I never redeemed it as a statement credit and never showed up on my bill

Yeah so ultimately Verizon and synchrony are pointing fingers at each other. Called Verizon and they told me to call synchrony, called synchrony and they told me to call Verizon. Honestly just thinking of canceling the Verizon Visa card. This is such a head ache to get reward dollars. You make them and they take them. And to get them back to make you go to through hoops to just say to call the other company. Horrible. Just horrible.

I have called 1800-922-0204, 866-895-5579, 866-313-9396. No one has an answer. I even called synchrony which told me to call Verizon care. honestly just a headache thinking of this. I’ve been on phone with them for hours just for them to say sorry I don’t know what else to do. If they don’t know what to do why waste hours of my time? I’m just shocked no one has any answer to this.

I've had the same problem for a year now. It's an endless loop of calling Synchrony and Verizon and having them tell me to call the other or transferring my call to a dead end, or giving me a customer service number that is fully automated and doesn't provide any help at all. I've tried both phone calls and chats and every conversation is the same. They tell me my issue is their top priority. They "escalate" and submit a ticket. When I tell them that's already been promised numerous times they tell me it will be fixed in some random amount of time. I tell them that's not good enough and they tell me they can't help and to call the other company. I was on the phone with a Synchrony rep a few days ago and finally got them to understand the issue but she didn't have access to all the information so she called another department and they tried to work together to figure it out. I thought we had made progress and that I might have finally gotten this resolved, but I received a message from them saying I need to contact Verizon instead.
All they need to know is how many Verizon Dollars I've accumulated and how many of them I've redeemed and they should be able to figure out that more than $400 is missing. I don't have access to all of the Verizon Visa and Verizon Wireless statements and bills that would allow me to total them up and give an accurate missing balance number because they don't go back far enough.
Is there anyone on this community forum to get this fixed or at least arrange a call with both Synchrony and the billing department at Verizon so they can work together?
I have been a Verizon customer for fifteen years without any issues until this fiasco. If the rewards on this card weren't so generous and my missing dollars were restored I would immediately cancel the card and the Verizon service.
