Verizon Roadside won’t refund me

I had a flat tire and decided to use Verizon roadside. I was 19 miles from home and they only covered 10 miles. I had nowhere else to go so I paid the extra 9 miles which was about 90 dollars. I immediately canceled the request, 5 minutes later tops, as I remembered I had another roadside service that covered 25 miles. I hadn’t even been assigned a driver.
I still have not received my refund for the service I never got. The app said 3 days for reimbursement and it’s now a week later. The payment shows up as pending for a whole week on my card, so I can’t even dispute it via my card. I called the roadside number and talked to some condescending individual who told me that it’s my banks problem, not the people who are actually charging me. I told him that logic makes no sense so he said Verizon customer service would refund me. Neither of those options make any sense; why wouldn’t the people who actually charged me be responsible for this. I feel as if I’m getting the run around and at this point I’m so tired of Verizon wireless, I can’t beleive I worked 7 years for these guys. An absolute joke DO NOT use their roadside, the absolute worst, the one other time I used them they took 4 hours to show up.

We're sorry to hear about the pending charge for that refund. Have you had a chance to reach out to your financial institution to inquire on the refund? It's possible that the refund has been sent, and your institution is still processing it.
