$200 gift card never received

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the failure to receive a promised $200 gift card as part of a promotion when I switched my lines from T-Mobile to Verizon.

On november 2023, I made the switch to Verizon based on the assurance that if I signed up for the Ultra plan for one of my lines, I would be eligible to receive a $200 gift card. However, despite multiple assurances from Verizon representatives and patiently waiting for almost four months, I have yet to receive the gift card.

Each time I contacted customer service to inquire about the status of the gift card, I was given conflicting information. Initially, I was informed that the gift card would be mailed to me after three months. However, when I followed up after this period, I was informed that I needed to redeem the gift card, which was never communicated to me previously.

This inconsistency and lack of clarity regarding the redemption process are highly disappointing and unacceptable. As a loyal customer who trusted Verizon's promises, I feel misled and undervalued.

I request immediate resolution to this matter. I kindly ask for clear instructions on how to redeem the gift card and expedited processing to ensure I receive it without further delay. Additionally, I urge Verizon to review its customer service protocols to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future and to ensure transparent communication with customers.

If this matter is not addressed promptly and satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to explore alternative options and escalate my complaint further.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a swift resolution.

@Lovepreet, your thread is in the Prepaid forum, so I'm going to guess you ported in on a prepaid plan.  The prepaid service plans are not eligible for any promotions or perks.  The only price break is for using autopay.  Such is the life of a prepaid customer, but I must say the service is better than the 3rd party MVNO I used to use, and the billing is very straightforward, not to mention cheaper than the postpaid plans.
