On a desktop or laptop, log into your My Verizon account and go to Account->Account Settings->Account Overview to see your account number on the website.
On the My Verizon mobile app select Account, sign in and select Edit profile & settings to see your account number.

Let's gather more data. If you do not mind us asking, why are you looking to change services?

This thread's in the Prepaid forum, so I'm assuming you are a prepaid customer like me... When I login to my account on a computer, my account number is in the top left corner.
If you are wanting to upgrade your service to postpaid, you need to contact Inside Sales to have your account converted, as it is a different process which neither the postpaid CS or prepaid CS handle.
If you are trying to port out of Verizon, you will need not just your account number, but a transfer PIN, which prepaid customers cannot generate on their own (why, no idea). You have to go to a Verizon store and ask an employee to generate the transfer PIN for you.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
